What is Meniere’s disease?
One Mb. Menière’s is a disease characterized by acute attacks of vertigo accompanied by hearing loss and tinnitus. The dizzy spells last from minutes to hours and may be accompanied by nausea and vomiting.

What are the causes of Meniere’s disease?
The exact cause is unknown. The symptoms are caused by a build-up of inner ear fluid, which leads to damage to hearing and balance cells.
How is it treated?
The first step is drug treatment. If this is not sufficient, freedom from vertigo can be achieved through surgery. In most cases, hearing can be preserved.
